Our Pastor

Rev. Emily Ratering-Youngberg grew up on a Wisconsin alfalfa farm, attending Hope College (class of 1999) and then Western Theological Seminary (class of 2002), both in Holland, Michigan. First Reformed Church called her, and she was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament, RCA, by the Zeeland Classis (Synod of the Great Lakes). Pastor Emily and her husband Matt moved into the Little Falls parsonage in August 2002. Since then they have welcomed two children, a son and a daughter. Pastor Emily loves reading fiction, working on her compost “operation,” and sewing bags from upcycled material. In addition, Pastor Emily and Matt are both musicians.
